How (and Why) SpaceX Will Colonize Mars

Not sure why I didn’t post this when it came out (well, I was on vacation). This is part 3 of the Wait But Why series on Elon Musk and the best so far.

As with previous ones, it’s long. No really, it’s long. Set aside a healthy chunk of time. It’s worth it.

In part, it involves how this could actually work…

We are currently in Phase 2 above. The blog author thinks we’ll set foot on Mars by 2013. Musk thinks we’ll have a thriving city there by 2040.

I’d really like to see that…
