Spelling Bee Down?

I started getting into crossword puzzles a few years back. I recall my grandmother doing them in pen with only a dictionary as a reference. I am not to that level, Google is still my friend, but I do enjoy them. So I use the NY Times crossword app because the NY Times puzzles are excellent.

The app and the NY Times also have a puzzle called the Spelling Bee. Word nerds all know about this, it’s quite popular. And I, like many others apparently, typically start my day with coffee and the Spelling Bee. But this morning it’s down and people are sad…
