If you haven’t seen this, watch it right now. Whoever edited this deserves an award. The mashups, the way they combined songs, and just the incredible talent is spectacular.
The greatest music video ever.
This is the name of a Serbian restaurant in Milwaukee. I’m actually amazed it’s still open. Getting burek there was a big treat when I was a kid like 50 years ago.

But that’s not what this post is about. I have two older brothers. We are spread across the country and are generally really bad at staying in touch. Jim, my older (but not oldest) brother just had surgery for a cancer in his mouth. It went really well and they are optimistic it removed everything but recovery involves a feeding tube and he didn’t want us to visit until he could talk.
So on Wednesday I’ll see him in person for the first time in way too long. It’s stupid that it went this long. It’s not like we have any beef or bad blood, it’s all good. Thursday my oldest brother Tom will get there and the three of us will be together for the first time since 2010 (I think).

It should have happened a long time ago, but I’m really glad we’re getting together, even if for a not great reason.
I like this post…
You never know when you will need a favor. Having a network of friends/colleagues/etc. who actually like you (or fake it well) comes in handy when you least expect it.
When you make that request and the response is “of course!”, it just feels great.
He’s growing fast. The blog needed a Charlie picture…

Our daughter was back from school for the weekend and has wanted to see Hamilton forever. So I got tickets for a father/daughter outing.
I was wondering what the talent level drop would be from the original cast, but it was still excellent. The current Washington, in particular, was tremendous (One Last Time, being my favorite song from the show).
A really fun night…

Decent seats, too.

C’mon, don’t you have staff with access to a spell checker?
GOP members complaining about reduction of military standards while using a chart that misspells the word military!

It was time to visit the vet for a couple shots. We brought him home at 14 pounds. This is 20.2…

Can be quite pretty…
