Big Ass Turtle
Finally, a click-bait headline. Last weekend there was a block party about a block away from us. There’s a church on that block and most of the events were geared as fundraisers.
Along with the bouncy castles, arts and crafts and cotton candy, they had a “petting zoo” area. Not common in Brooklyn, but goats, some rabbits and some ducks/swans wasn’t that unusual.

My Old Kentucky Home
Well, my parents were from Kentucky, I grew up in Milwaukee (Go Packers). But I think Kentucky wins the most improved award (though West Virginia, Oregon, California and Nevada are all right up there).
