I have a daughter who will be 13 in November. She spent most of the summer trying to set personal records for how late she would sleep. She would leave with her friends with hardly a backwards glance.
Starting 7th grade she is totally getting herself ready for school. This is a plus. And if just the two of us are walking down the street, she’ll grab my hand.
So I’m not complaining yet. She’s no longer my little girl, but she’s still a good girl…
It should have been a great sports night in NYC. Yankees hosting division rival Toronto and Serena playing at the US Open.
