Finally, a click-bait headline. Last weekend there was a block party about a block away from us. There’s a church on that block and most of the events were geared as fundraisers.
Along with the bouncy castles, arts and crafts and cotton candy, they had a “petting zoo” area. Not common in Brooklyn, but goats, some rabbits and some ducks/swans wasn’t that unusual.

It’s because I’m here. The park shown in that post is two blocks from my office and my favorite “thinking walk”.
Still waiting for them to open the climbing wall, it looks nice…

Via Brownstoner.com, the co-op of the day is in our building. I don’t know the specific unit (and in our building the apartments vary quite a bit due to the fact that it was once the Ex-Lax factory).
